Jan-Eric Fjellström, known as 'Fjellis', was a Swedish guitarist born on June 7, 1951, in Motala and passed away on April 27, 1999, in Malmö. He collaborated with notable artists like Mikael Wiehe and Peps Persson. Fjellström was celebrated for his interpretations of Robert Johnson's songs on a National steel guitar, accompanied by storytelling about Johnson's life. In 2019, a train from Skånetrafiken was named in his honor. He is buried in Sankt Pauli Cemetery in Malmö, and the Fjellis Prize was awarded in his memory from 2000 to 2020.
