Jan Kovář is a Czech Roman Catholic priest, born on January 25, 1956, in Třebíč. He grew up in Slavětice and was a parish priest in Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou from 2002 to 2016. Kovář studied at the Agricultural University in Brno and later pursued theology after 1989. He was ordained on June 17, 1995. Throughout his priesthood, he engaged in various church activities, including inviting missionaries and initiating organ repairs in local churches. In September 2016, he became the parish priest in Hrotovice.
