Janice 'Jan' Margaret Randles, born on August 23, 1945, is a prominent Australian Paralympic athletics competitor. She made history at the 1984 New York/Stoke Mandeville Paralympics, where she won a gold and a bronze medal. Notably, she was the first female Australian Paralympian to achieve victory in a Paralympic marathon, a feat later matched by Madison de Rozario in 2020. In recognition of her contributions to Paralympic sports, Randles received the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in June 2024.
