Jan David Steinmann, born December 31, 1942, is a Swedish television executive and businessman. He began working for Mark McCormack's Transworld International in 1975. In the mid-1980s, he was recruited by Jan Stenbeck to help establish Scansat and TV3, which launched on December 31, 1987, with Steinmann as its first CEO. He later became chairman of TV3 and the CEO of TV International. Steinmann also worked for Scandinavian Broadcasting System and has held positions in various media companies.
