Jan Tomislav Topić Feraud, born on April 23, 1983, is an Ecuadorian businessman, economist, and politician. He competed in the 2023 Ecuadorian general election for the presidency, finishing fourth with 14.66% of the votes in the first round on August 20, 2023. Since 2010, he has been the president of Telconet. His involvement with the French Foreign Legion has led to allegations of being a mercenary, which he has denied. Topić was also briefly nominated for the position of Minister of Security by Guillermo Lasso prior to the 2023 political crisis.
