Jana Smiggels Kavková is a Czech feminist and activist born on December 26, 1977, in Hradec Králové. Since 2005, she has been involved in advocating for women's rights, particularly focusing on gender balance in decision-making positions. Until 2019, she was an active member of the Czech Women's Lobby, where she served multiple terms as chairperson and held the position of vice-chairperson of the Government Council for Gender Equality. Additionally, she was a member of the European Women's Lobby from 2012 to 2016.
