Jana Štroblová, born on July 1, 1936, in Prague, is a Czech poet, writer, and translator, known for her children's literature. She has authored around twenty poetry collections, with her works appearing in various anthologies and translations abroad. In addition to poetry, she has written several prose works and children's books. A significant part of her translation work involves the Russian exile poet Marina Tsvetaeva. She also collaborated with sinologist Josef Kolmaš to translate ancient Chinese and Tibetan poetry, as well as ancient Arabic poetry with Arabist Karel Petráček.
