Jane Bunnett (born October 22, 1956) is a Canadian soprano saxophonist, flautist, and bandleader known for her Afro-Cuban jazz compositions. She regularly travels to Cuba to perform with Cuban musicians. Before transitioning to jazz, she practiced classical piano, eventually focusing on the soprano saxophone and flute. Her contributions to music have been recognized, and she was awarded an honorary doctorate from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada in 2006.
