Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is a prominent Ghanaian academic and politician born on November 22, 1951. She served as the Minister for Education from February 2013 to January 2017 and was the first female Vice-Chancellor of a state university in Ghana. She led the University of Cape Coast and is currently the Chancellor of the Women's University in Africa. In the December 2020 presidential election, she was the running mate of John Mahama for the NDC party ticket, officially announced on July 6, 2020.
