János Csanády was a Hungarian poet and writer, born on May 26, 1932, in Lajoskomárom. He was a two-time recipient of the József Attila Prize, awarded in 1965 and 1980. Csanády was recognized for his contributions to Hungarian literature. He passed away in Budapest on November 17, 2021.
