Jared Mezzocchi is an acclaimed American theatre director and projection designer recognized for his innovative contributions to virtual theater. He was featured in the New York Times' Top 5 list of theatre artists in 2020 and has received multiple awards for his work, including two Obie Awards and a Princess Grace Award. He has collaborated with various theatre companies in the U.S. and Europe and currently teaches projection design at the University of Maryland. Mezzocchi is also the Artistic Director of Andy's Summer Playhouse, a youth theatre in New Hampshire.
