Jarmo Ilmari Lindberg, born on June 10, 1959, is a retired Finnish general who served as Chief of Defence from 2014 to 2019. He began his military career as a fighter pilot and was promoted to Commander of the Finnish Air Force in 2008. In 2012, he took on the role of Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics and Armaments in the Defence Command. Since 2023, he has also been a member of the Finnish Parliament representing the National Coalition Party.
