Jarmo Punkkinen is a Finnish ski coach born on March 19, 1951, in Valkeala. He served as the head coach for the Italian cross-country skiers from 1984 to 1990 and was the personal coach for Manuela Di Centa from 1987 to 1991. Punkkinen later coached the Swedish women's national team from 1992 to 1994 and the Slovenian national team from 1999 to 2001. He is also a former competitive skier in cross-country skiing and orienteering and currently works as a cross-country and biathlon expert for Finnish television and radio.
