Jaroslav Peška is a Czech archaeologist and university educator, born on April 14, 1960, in Znojmo. In 2003, he became the director of the Archaeological Centre in Olomouc. He has been associated with the Department of History at the Faculty of Arts, Palacký University Olomouc, since 2007. His research focuses on the late Eneolithic period (including cultures with corded and bell-shaped pottery), the earlier Bronze Age, and partially the Roman period.
