Jasmine Ting, born Tíng Zhú on January 5, 1981, is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter. She debuted in the music industry in 2007 under HummingBird Music. Inspired by her uncle's passing, she began songwriting in her teens, and after graduating university, she furthered her music education in Los Angeles. Discovered by producer Lupo Groining, she released her debut album, 'Yu Sheng – The Sound of Rain', in honor of her idol, Chang Yu-Sheng. Her notable works include albums like 'Sound of Rain' and 'Ai De Jiu Gong Ge'.
