After studying in the mainland United States, he played professionally in Germany for three years, representing Schalke 04 and the Paderborn Baskets in both the first and second Bundesliga. Edwin later continued his career primarily in Latin America and Asia. As a member of the Virgin Islands national team, he earned two silver medals at the Centrobasket tournaments in 2006 and 2008.
