Despite limited education ending in Class-III, he gained popularity for his ragnis, especially in Haryana and surrounding regions. Singh served in the Indian Army, recorded his ragnis, and fought alongside the Azad Hind Fauj during World War II. He died in 1945, dedicating his life to the freedom struggle of India.
