Jaw Shaw-kong is a Taiwanese politician, media personality, and entrepreneur born on May 6, 1950. He served a term on the Taipei City Council and was elected to the Legislative Yuan from 1987 to 1991 and again from 1993 to 1994. He co-founded the New Party in 1993 and led it briefly. Additionally, he directed the Environmental Protection Administration between his terms in the Legislative Yuan and is currently the vice presidential candidate of the Kuomintang in the 2024 Taiwanese presidential election.
