Juha Jay Kortehisto is a Finnish musician, singer, and arranger born on December 28, 1972, in Seinäjoki, Finland. He plays trombone and didgeridoo, and is known as the vocalist and trombonist for the band Screaming Jay & The Bones. Kortehisto studied at the Oulunkylä Pop & Jazz Conservatory after moving to Helsinki in 1994. He has been involved with numerous bands and has contributed to over 200 albums as a session musician. In 2018, he released a solo album featuring jazz sung in Finnish.
