Jean Chollet is a French journalist and dramatic critic, trained as an architect and specialized in stage construction and scenic design history. He has collaborated with various French and international journals, serving as publication director for Actualité de la scénographie from 1983 to 2005, and has been chief editor of Jours nouveaux from 2000 to 2003. He was the general commissioner for French scenography at the 2003 Prague Quadrennial and served as vice-president of the professional syndicate of dramatic criticism from 2006 to 2014.
