Jean Dubray, born in 1935 in Ardilleux, Deux-Sèvres, is a Sacred Heart priest and a professor emeritus at the School of Catholic Theology in Issy-les-Moulineaux. He holds doctoral degrees in philosophy from Aix-Marseille I (2004), French literature and civilization from Paris-Sorbonne (2010), and canonical theology from the Catholic Institute of Paris (2015). His research focuses on 18th-century Jansenism and the thoughts of Abbé Grégoire. He is a member of the Société des Amis de Port-Royal and the Société des Amis de Chateaubriand.
