Jean Émile Charon was a French physicist and philosopher, born on February 25, 1920, in Paris and passed away on June 8, 1998. He was a nuclear physicist who worked on unifying essential physical theories in pursuit of a 'theory of everything', following Einstein's legacy. From about 1959, he also explored metaphysics, attempting to view matter and spirit through a unified lens. Charon proposed a complex spacetime model based on complex numbers, wherein the real parts represented the material and the imaginary parts represented the spiritual.
