Jeannette Miller is a Dominican poet, storyteller, essayist, educator, and art historian born on August 2, 1944, in Santo Domingo. She was educated at various institutions including the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo, where she later taught. As part of the Generación del 60, she joined the Arte y Liberación movement in 1963. Miller is a founder and curator at the Museo de Arte Moderno and the Casa del Escritor Dominicano. She authored significant works on Dominican art history and poetry, receiving several accolades for her contributions to literature.
