Felton Jeffrey Capel II was an American basketball coach born on January 6, 1953. He served as a head coach at Old Dominion Monarchs (1994-2001), North Carolina A&T Aggies (1993-1994), and Fayetteville State Broncos (1989-1993). He was an assistant coach in the NBA with the Charlotte Bobcats and later the Philadelphia 76ers. Capel was the father of Jeff Capel III, head coach of the Pittsburgh Panthers, and Jason Capel, former head coach of the Appalachian State Mountaineers. He passed away on November 13, 2017.
