Jeff Keane is an American cartoonist, the youngest son of renowned cartoonist Bil Keane. After his father's passing in 2011, he became the inker and colorist for 'The Family Circus', a comic strip he had assisted with since 1981. The character Jeffy in the strip was inspired by him. Keane earned a BFA in Drama and resides in Laguna Hills, California. He served as president of the National Cartoonists Society twice and received the Silver T-Square Award in 2015 for his contributions to the cartooning profession.
