Jeffrey Glenn Miller was an American student at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, who was killed by Ohio Army National Guard soldiers during the Kent State shooting. He was protesting against the Cambodian Invasion and the presence of the National Guard on campus. On May 4, 1970, National Guardsmen opened fire on a group of unarmed students, resulting in Miller's death along with three others at a distance of 81 to 119 meters.
