Jehan Barbur is a Turkish singer and songwriter of Arab Christian descent, born on April 12, 1980, in Beirut, Lebanon. She began her music career in 2002, moving from Ankara to Istanbul and initially performing as a vocalist in various pop and jazz groups. She signed a partnership contract with the well-known music company Bülent Ortacgil. Her debut album, titled 'The Awakened,' was released in 2009, followed by a second album in 2010 and a third album, 'The Yellow,' in 2012.
