Jenifer Tordjo, also known as J-To, is a Surinamese singer and songwriter born on January 5, 1971, in Paramaribo. She grew up in a musical family with three brothers and four sisters, all active in music. Tordjo is the lead vocalist of the band Final Step, established in 1993. She gained recognition with her hit song 'Lieve schat,' which topped music charts in 2003. Tordjo's music blends Dutch, Javanese, and Sranantongo, reflecting the culture of Suriname. In 2013, she collaborated musically with Jogga in the reggae genre.
