Jenner Augusto da Silveira was a Brazilian painter born on November 11, 1924, in Aracaju and passed away on March 2, 2003, in Salvador. He held his first solo exhibition in Rio de Janeiro in 1950, where he met the notable artist Portinari. Notably, he won the Gold Medal at the VI Salão Baiano de Belas Artes in 1956 and the grand prize for painting at the III Salão de Artes Plásticas do Rio Grande do Sul in 1963. He also worked as a poster artist, illustrator, draftsman, and engraver.
