She partnered with Daniil Barantsev to achieve notable accolades, including the 2007 Nebelhorn Trophy and a 4th place finish at the 2008 ISU Four Continents. After retiring from competition in 2010 due to injury, she continued performing professionally. Wester graduated from Yale University with a degree in Computing and the Arts and received her MFA in Studio Art from Southern Methodist University in 2021.
