Jennifer Kemp, born on May 28, 1955, in Cincinnati, is a retired American swimmer who specialized in freestyle. She competed in the 1960s and 1970s and initially focused on backstroke before transitioning to freestyle in 1971. Kemp competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, where she won an Olympic gold medal in the 4x100 meters freestyle relay, setting a world record. She also reached the semifinals in the 100 meters freestyle. Her accolades include a bronze medal in backstroke at the 1975 Pan American Games and an AAU championship in 100 meters freestyle in 1972.
