Jenny Siimon, born Jenny Kossar on February 6, 1905, in Irvala, was an Estonian mezzo-soprano singer and singing pedagogue. She graduated from Narva I Gymnasium in 1926 and studied singing at the Tallinn Conservatory from 1932 to 1934. Siimon performed as an opera soloist at the Estonia Theatre from 1936 to 1941 and again from 1944 to 1948, and as a concert singer. From 1940 to 1976, she taught singing at the conservatory, becoming an associate professor in 1946, mentoring notable students such as Teo Maiste and Mati Palm.
