Jens Bækkelund, born on June 12, 1949, is a Danish musician from Funen who has performed at parties and concerts since the 1960s, starting with his first band, The Bobbles. After a career as an economist from 1970 to 1989, he joined the rock band Rockexpressen as a bassist. In the 1990s, he played piano in the country band Stand and Deliver. Currently, he primarily performs with Jan Michael, although most of his gigs are as a solo musician.
