Jens Klüver is a Danish jazz musician, saxophonist, and bandleader born on October 1, 1948, in Copenhagen. He grew up in Fredericia and graduated as a clarinetist in 1978 from the Jyske Music Conservatory, though he is best known as a tenor saxophonist. Klüver led Klüvers Big Band for 35 years, promoting rhythmic music through school concerts and elevating music pedagogy. His contributions earned him prestigious awards, including the Ben Webster Prize in 2002 and the Danish Musicians' Union Honorary Award in 2012. He has also set Danish bench press records in the late 1990s.
