Jens Peter Jensen (February 25, 1922 – February 4, 1993) was a Danish journalist, editor, and politician for the Venstre party. He started in agriculture before moving into journalism at Helsingør Dagblad in 1946, later becoming editor of Børsen in 1961 and then Fyns Tidende. Active in politics, he was a member of the Danish Parliament for over 20 years, served as deputy mayor of Fyns Amt from 1970-1978, and was a member of the Council of Europe from 1978-1980. He was the father of politician Uffe Ellemann-Jensen.
