Born on May 17, 1932, in Thorshøj, near Sæby, he made significant contributions to Danish culture, particularly through his poetry. His most notable work is the song 'Forelskelsessang' (also known as 'Du kom med alt det der var dig') from 1981. In his political career, he served as the chairman of Dansk Samling from 1998 to 2003. Rosendal passed away on December 30, 2023.
