Jeremiah "JJ" Sola is a retired American-Italian professional basketball player born on September 12, 1981. He played in several countries including Finland, Mexico, Italy, Cyprus, and Iceland, winning a national championship in Iceland. Sola arrived in Finland in November 2004 when Pyrbasket signed him as an import player. He was one of the top scorers during the season with an average of 22.21 points per game. After retiring from professional basketball in 2009, he worked for the United States Army and was involved in communications, preparing for a deployment to Iraq.
