Jerome Armstrong is an influential American political strategist born in 1964, known for founding MyDD in 2001, one of the early political blogs. He coined the term 'netroots' and is referred to as 'The Blogfather' for mentoring prominent bloggers. Armstrong played a key role in Howard Dean's 2004 grassroots presidential campaign and popularized these grassroots tactics in global campaigns. Additionally, he co-founded Vox Media in 2005 alongside Markos Moulitsas and Tyler Bleszinski.
