Jesse Mashburn is a retired American sprinter born on February 14, 1933, in Seminole, Oklahoma. He excelled in sprinting events during the 1950s, notably winning a gold medal in the 4x400 meters at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne. He also achieved significant success at the 1955 Pan American Games, securing gold and bronze medals in the 4x400 meters and 400 meters, respectively. Additionally, he won national titles in 400 meters and contributed to setting a world record for the 4x440-yard relay.
