Jesús Edgardo Colón Berlingeri, also known as "Gardy", is a Puerto Rican politician and the current mayor of Orocovis. He has been in office since 1998, following the death of his father, Jesús Colón Collazo. Colón is affiliated with the New Progressive Party and was elected officially in 2000. He graduated with a Bachelor's in Social Science from the University of Puerto Rico and later obtained a Master's degree from Penn State University. He has worked in various educational roles and was married to Odette Piñeiro, with whom he has three sons.
