He studied for the priesthood at seminaries in Vitoria and San Sebastian. His notable works were published in various journals, including Euzko Gogoa and Jakin, from 1956 onward. He co-authored 'Jainkoaren erria' and 'Eliz Misterioa' with P. Zabaleta, and translated 'Aladino' and 'Munchausen' into Basque. He was involved with the Kardaberaz group and the Euskerazaintza association.
