Jesús López de Dicastillo Gorricho is a Spanish engineer, writer, journalist, and adventurer, born on January 28, 1951, in Barbarin, Navarra. He is renowned for cycling over 30,000 kilometers on the 'Path of the Conquistadors' through 16 countries from Mexico to Brazil. He explored the Andes on foot to study chamanic rituals, settled in Peru's Amazon, and founded the Albergue Cultural Humboldt. López de Dicastillo produced the adventure program 'Doctor Livingstone, I Presume' for Basque television and has authored three books about his journeys and experiences with Amazonian rituals.
