Andrew Gih, also known as Ji Zhiwen, was a prominent Chinese Protestant evangelist born on January 10, 1901, in Shanghai. He co-founded the Bethel Worldwide Evangelistic Band in the 1920s and later founded the Evangelize China Fellowship in 1947. Renowned for his extensive evangelistic efforts, he traveled over 50,000 miles across China, converting many to Christianity. After fleeing to Hong Kong due to the Communist regime, he continued to impact religious communities. Gih established numerous educational institutions and orphanages, retiring in Los Angeles in 1978 before passing away on February 13, 1985.
