Jibril Rajoub (Abu Rami), born on May 14, 1953, is a Palestinian politician who has held several significant positions including the head of the Palestinian Youth and Sports Council, the Palestinian Football Association, and the Palestinian Olympic Committee. He was also the founder and head of the preventive security service in the West Bank until 2002, and was a member of the Fatah Revolutionary Council until 2009. In 2009, he was elected to the Fatah Central Committee and served as Deputy Secretary until 2017, when he became the Secretary of the Central Committee.
