Jikme Losel Wangpo, born in 1964 in the Kingdom of Sikkim, is recognized as the 7th Dzogchen Rinpoche in the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. He is considered the 7th reincarnation of Pema Rigdzin. His recognition was confirmed by notable figures, including Dodrupchen Rinpoche and the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso. The ceremonial enthronement of Wangpo occurred on October 8, 1972, at the royal palace in Gangtok, Sikkim.
