Jim Daly, born on December 20, 1972, in Drinagh, County Cork, Ireland, is an Irish politician. He served as a Teachta Dála in the Dáil Éireann from 2011 to 2020. Daly worked as a primary school teacher and principal. In 2004, he was elected to the Town Council of Skibbereen and the Cork County Council. He was the Mayor of County Cork in 2010 and was appointed Minister of State for Mental Health and Older People in 2017. He did not run in the 2020 elections and became the CEO of the Association of Private Hospitals. He is married with five children.
