Jim Ping Hei, born on December 23, 1960, is a Hong Kong actor of Fujian ancestry. He debuted as a television actor after graduating from the TVB training class in 1984, landing a leading role in the series '畫出彩虹'. Initially promoted by TVB, he faced challenges after disagreements with management, resulting in a hiatus. He later worked with ATV and returned to TVB for supporting roles. In the late 1990s, he re-entered the film industry and even participated in Category III films. In recent years, he has also been a member of the CPPCC in Fujian.
