Jim Walker is an American flutist and educator, recognized as the principal flutist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He is also the founder of the jazz quartet Free Flight. Since 1984, he has focused primarily on jazz performance and flute pedagogy, contributing significantly to both fields and inspiring many students and musicians.
