Jimmy Samijn, born on August 24, 1974, in Etterbeek, Belgium, is a Belgian singer known for being the lead singer of the Dutch-speaking boy band Get Ready!. His music career began in 1996 when he responded to an advertisement in the magazine Joepie for auditions for a new boy band. Get Ready! achieved significant success with eleven number one hits. In a notable event in 1997, the band was outed by a magazine but later publicly came out as bisexual in 2002. He married Davy Van Impe on April 21, 2012.
