Jimmy Tillette is a former American college basketball coach born on April 8, 1950, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was the head coach of Samford University's men's basketball team from 1997 to 2012, becoming the school's winningest coach with a record of 229–219. Under his leadership, the Bulldogs made their only two NCAA Tournament appearances in 1999 and 2000. His coaching career also included a stint at Isidore Newman High School, where he retired in 2019, succeeded by Randy Livingston.
